Similan Islands National Park was established after the one-year exploration by the Foresty department. The park is the archipelago consisting of nine islands which are Ko Bon, Ko Bayu, Ko Similan, Ko Payu, Ko Miang (two adjoining islands), Ko Payan, Ko Payang, and Ko Huyong. Recently, the park was expanded to included two remoted islands which are Ko Bon and Ko Tachai. The Similans are situated 70 kilometres from Phang Nga town. "Similan" is a Yawi word which means "nine". Similan is one of the most famous diving sites in Thailand.

Phuket FantaSea is a theme entertainment park located on the resort island of Phuket, Thailand. Covering over an area of 140 acres, the park has its concept based on Thai mythology, folklore and culture and features 3 main attractions: a shopping street; a 4,000-seat buffet restaurant; and a Las Vegas-style theatrical production that blends Thai traditional performance with magical illusions, special effects and animal performance. The show is presented each evening in a custom-built state-of-the-art 3,000-seat theater that is front by a reconstruction of ancient Thai stone palace. Phuket FantaSea was officially opened on 6th February 1999
